Snowed In!   by EmmaB

Bell was the only girl toymaker in the North Pole. One morning when the elves woke Bell was looking out of the windows, shocked. She cried, "Lads, we're snowed in!”
"Bloody hell, we are!" said Ron, looking out the window.
"Hmm” said Jingles. Then Jingles started looking for something
“What are you looking for?" asked Tangle.
“I'm trying to see if I can find anything that I could help us," said Jingles.
“Great idea," said Bell. “Everybody, start looking,” she ordered.

The elves looked and looked - but they couldn't find anything. Eventually Ron said “Lads...” and Bell found a mousehole!" A tiny mouse crept out of the mouse hole.
“I can help you,” squeaked the mouse.
“You can talk!” cried Bell.
“How are you going to help us?" asked Jingles.
“If you want, I could gnaw through the door,” squeaked the mouse.
“Yes please!” shouted all the elves.
“Then let's get started!" squeaked the mouse.

The mouse started to gnaw through the door and in less than a minute there was a giant hole in it. "Guys, the sun has come out and the snow is melting!" squeaked the mouse happily. “And even better, we can all fit through the door!”  So they all hopped out the door.
"Come on lads, we need to tell Santa what the issue was. And we need to make the rest of the toys or else it will be Christmas Eve!” exclaimed Bell.

The Elf and the Snowman     -Matthew
Alex was very excited for the school holidays. He was jumping around the room with excitement. On the 18th of December it started to snow and Alex built a snowman while his Elf on the Shelf, Edmund, was there.
"I wonder where Edmund is?” said Alex one morning. It was six day later and Edmund had gone somewhere. Alex did not know where Edmund had gone but he had gone outside and he was on the snowman. So he went outside to have a look. When he got out there he noticed that the snowman was wearing his magic shoes that his dad gave him for his birthday five years ago. He noticed a magic sparkle beside the shoes. Then the elf and the snowman started to come alive. They started to talk and dance around.
He ran in to mum and told her what happened and she did not believe him. So she came out and the elf and the snowman had stopped as soon as she came out. When she left they started to talk and dance again. When he woke up in the morning it was Christmas.

Mrs. Claus's Christmas       - SaoirseD
Hello I am Mrs. Claus and I live in the North Pole with Santa Claus. This Christmas I had to deliver all the presents because Santa had a really bad cold. I was not trained to ride the sleigh. The reindeer only listen to Santa. So, Santa put a magic spell on me to disguise as Santa Claus and it worked. I was able to ride the sleigh. Hooray!
The Elf and the Present     - Tom
Once upon a time in the village of The Hollow Tree there lived some elves. Their names were Pinky and Snowy. Their boss was Santa. Pinky woke up one Christmas Day and looked at her clock. It was one o’clock in the morning. Santa was long gone. Then she turned over and saw the half-made present on her locker.
"Oh no!" she shouted. “I never finished the present!” Now Pinky was panicking. One child will be a present short when they wake up. She thought. She didn't want to but she could not stop looking at the unfinished toy train. She decided to go to her friend Snowy’s house. When she got there Snowy was sitting on his bed. She told him what happened. He said "Pinky, one child will be sad in the morning and it’s all your fault."
Suddenly Pinky woke and looked at her calendar. It was still November. It had been a nightmare.

The Christmas Theft!    - ShaneB

The magic bells were gone – stolen - three days before the big day. Three suspects, elves, said it was not them. Santa was keeping his eyes peeled.  One elf, Jimmy, sneaked away and Santa followed him. In a room they came to a locker with all the bells in it! Santa popped out and caught Jimmy red handed. Santa was shocked that his good elf had taken the magic bells.

Every year on fourth of December the magic bells are rung to help the reindeer fly. Jimmy had taken the bells to try to sneak onto Santa’s sleigh and fly with the reindeer!

Santa was disappointed so he put Jimmy on the Naughty List. Jimmy was sorry so he worked extra hard in the elves workshop for the next three days. Santa was happy and put him on the Nice List again. He even let Jimmy ride up front on his sleigh on the big day!

THE CASE OF THE MISSING REINDEER

On Christmas Eve Santa went to feed the reindeer. When he got to the stable they weren't there. Santa started to panic. Thomas the elf came in and told Santa that an elf was missing too. Then Santa and Thomas went out looking for the missing reindeer and elf.

It was almost night and they had not seen anything. Then Santa stopped because he saw an elf boot on the ground outside a cave. A noise came from the cave. It sounded like footsteps running. Suddenly, Santa saw a small elf running out of the cave behind him. Santa and Thomas ran after the elf. They heard the sound of hooves. When they ran out of the cave, Thomas could see footprints and hoofprints on the ground leading to a large igloo. On the floor of the igloo was a trapdoor with a ladder. They raced down and found the missing elf and all the reindeer. Santa was relieved. The elf said that he had kidnapped the reindeer because he was tired of making toys. Santa let the elf travel with him on the sleigh to deliver the presents and everyone was happy.

The Lazy Elves
Two hours before Santa had to deliver the presents, he walked into the workshop and saw that the elves were asleep. He said “Wake up! Christmas will be ruined if you don’t hurry up! Now make those presents -there are still six hundred presents to be made! I’m off to get the reindeer ready”. Ten minutes later the reindeer were ready, the presents were ready and they set off to deliver gifts and make children happy all over the world!
