Find Borris, Denmark

Our partner school in Denmark is also called Borris!

We discovered this by accident while using the internet in school. We wrote to them and exchanged information. The children sent classwork and projects back and forth. In May 2011 a group of children from the Danish school came to stay in Borris, Ireland. They took part in school sports, visited local attactions, did some traditional Danish folk-dancing and went canoeing on our local river, the Barrow.  They and their teachers were sorry to leave and invited us back to Denmark.

In June 2013, we made a return visit. Full details in our school magazine here.
