New Language Curriculum

Starting from September 2017, how English and Irish will be taught from Junior Infants to Second Class will change. The New Curriculum for Language Learning represents the latest ideas about how children learn language and updates the methods used in the 1992 curriculum.

From 2018 these new ideas will be applied from Third to Sixth class.
