English reader and Gaeilge textbook will not be written into and can be sold on at the end of the school year. They are available to buy 2nd hand from this year’s 5th class if you wish. 
Please ensure the child’s name is clearly labelled on the front top right corner of each book.

2x 120 page maths copies 
5 x 120 page regular lined copies
1x A4 mesh folder with zipper 
2x A4 hardback notebooks
1 display folder (60 page) 
Clear plastic covers for each copy (with child’s name to be clearly labelled on front.)
   
2x glue sticks, ruler, 2 x HB pencils, rubber, pencil sharpener (good quality with inbuilt case for pencil shavings),
2x blue biros, 1x red biro, child safety scissors, colours (pencils or twistables).
All items to be labelled.


Uniform:
Boys: blue Polo shirt, wine V-necked jumper, grey trousers
Girls: blue Polo shirt, wine V-necked jumper or wine cardigan, grey trousers, skirt or pinafore
P.E (boys and girls): plain navy tracksuit (top and bottoms), blue Polo shirt
There is also a school shorts which is purchased from the school.
On days when the children are wearing shorts it must be the school shorts.
 


Everything must be labelled: books, uniform, lunchboxes, drink bottles, schoolbags
Absences:  Under the Educational Welfare Act, a specific School Welfare/Attendance Officer has been appointed for this area. The school is obliged to furnish details of all absences of 20 days and more to this officer.
  • All children’s absences require an explanatory note from the parent/guardian.
  • If the child is being collected by someone other than the designated person(s) a note must be given to the class teacher or a phone call made to the school.
  • These notes can be submitted through the Aladdin administration app.
  • Children being collected during the school day must be signed out in the school log book in the secretary’s office.
