Third Class - week 3
Dear Parents/Guardians and 3rd class boys and girls,
It’s been great to see so many pictures, videos and messages from you all the past two weeks. I hope you continue to put them up as I love seeing and hearing from you all.
We are entering our third week of remote learning and once again, our message is, that you can only do what suits you at home. The activities below are suggested but each family will know how much is possible for them. Children have great opportunities to learn other things at home and I would love to see pictures or hear about anything else you might be learning or doing.
My advice, if you are completing the work below, is to listen to the voice recordings on Seesaw before beginning work. There are tips for completing Irish, English and Maths, links to Maths tutorials, games and songs etc. I cannot emphasise enough how important learning tables are. The games are fun ways to practise these and should be kept on your Seesaw feed for the week and ideally practised each day.
While I understand that many families find it difficult to complete the activities below, there may be others wishing to explore extra projects. Here is a link to a padlet which you may find useful for ideas: padlet/ainegallahue
Wishing you all the very best for this week. Please contact me if I can support your child further on agallahue@borrisns.com
Best wishes,
Áine Gallahue
