First Class - week 3
Dear Parents,
Welcome to week 3! I hope this finds you and your families healthy and well. Thank you again for the fantastic work you have all been doing. It’s very much appreciated.
The children all enjoyed the G.A.A. training and it will be on again this week - this page for more info. Please do not worry if your child does not feel comfortable participating. Being on camera can be very difficult for some children.
We are taking quite a big jump in our maths books this week. The children will be practicing capacity. I’d like to leave the new number concepts (e.g. subtraction, word problems etc.) until we return to school, as these need quite a bit of concrete practice and guidance before the actual written concept is introduced.
As normal, please do not put pressure on either your child or yourself. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kindest regards,
Anne-Marie Ivers
